CanQuit Practice and Can Quit Dental Practice
The Wellington Division of the Cancer Society runs smoking cessation training for health professionals and others who work in primary care.
Training offered in Wellington, Nelson, Marlborough and the Wairarapa includes two, full-day courses on 'Smoking Cessation' and 'Motivational Interviewing'. It also includes a number of advanced courses and courses tailored to the requirements of specific professional groups such as dentists and optometrists.
